Renfrew Pool Closure:
Renfrew Pool will be closed for its annual maintenance from February 23 to March 20, 2026. The last practice at Renfrew will be on Friday, February 20.
Winter 2026 Registration
Practice details – Hillcrest & Renfrew - Winter 2026
- Priority Registration (Returning PNSC Fall 2025 swimmers)
- Wednesday, December 17 @ 7:00pm - Friday, December 19, 2026 @ 9:59am
After Priority Registration, any remaining spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Public Registration.

FEES:
- $14.50/practice – Hillcrest
- A 10% discount per swimmer is applied automatically in Amilia when adding a second weekly practice.
PRACTICE GUIDELINES & EXPECTATIONS:
- Max 2 practices per swimmer per week
- Practices are 1 hour 15 minutes (typically 15 minutes dryland + 60 minutes in the pool).
- We recommend two practices per week for consistency and faster skill development.
- Please review our withdrawal policy on the program page in Amilia before completing your registration.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Register by swim group – Email Gabrio (head_coach@pnsc.ca) if unsure
- Spectators are welcome – Please remove shoes on deck
- Arrival time: No more than 10 minutes before practice (unless joining public swim)
- Departure time: Swimmers must leave within 10 minutes after practice (unless staying for public swim)
- Changing rooms and showers are available
Swim Assessments
Unfortunately, we have quite a long wait list at the moment. Please, complete only one form per family, so you will be added to the wait list and you will receive an email from the head coach, when we are ready to book assessments.

Eligibility
Swimmers of all abilities are welcome to join the club. The only prerequisite is a demonstrated ability to swim 3 lengths of a 25 meter pool doing a front crawl, back crawl, and whip kick on front with confidence and a minimum of Swimmer 4 completed.

The fees for Winter 2026 are:
- $14.50/practice – Hillcrest & Renfrew
Volunteer requirements are suspended until otherwise noted.
All payments are non-refundable with the following exceptions:
- If the withdrawal notice is received prior to the start of the season/term, the registration fee will be refunded less a $25 administration fee.
- If the withdrawal notice is received within the first two weeks of the season/term starting, registration fee will be refunded less a $50 administration fee.
- No refund will be provided if withdrawal notice is received more than 14 days after the start of the season / term unless accompanied with a medical note.
Please send an email to Head_Coach@pnsc.ca if you wish to withdraw from the program.
Withdrawal for Medical Reasons:
- Withdrawal requests for medical reasons require a doctor’s note to be submitted to the Head Coach.
- Medical note must be dated after registration date, i.e., you can’t ask for a refund if you are aware of your medical condition at the time of registration.
- Fees will be prorated based on the number of weeks remaining in the term/season starting from date of withdrawal request.
- All refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee.
- Your registration fee allows you up to two practice sessions per week.
- Practices may also be cancelled when they conflict with another PNSC event like the Christmas Party, Time Trials, etc.
- There are no make up sessions for missed or cancelled.
- Fees will not prorated for missed or cancelled practices.
